Supporting the Acceleration of Village Infrastructure Sustainably, Semen Gresik Builds Concrete Road Worth Rp 1.55 billion in Tegaldowo Village Rembang
Rembang, July 26th 2024 – PT Semen Gresik Rembang Factory consistently distributes infrastructure cluster assistance through the Madani Community Forum (FMM) activities in Tegaldowo village, Rembang Regency. The total operational distribution of concrete road construction in Tegaldowo village reached IDR 1.55 billion with a concrete road of 1.51 kilometers whose construction was carried out from 2021 to 2024.
The assistance is one of the various supports Semen Gresik distributed in the infrastructure cluster, participatory-based community empowerment cluster and Socio-Cultural cluster.
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, said that it was recorded that the distribution of FMM infrastructure assistance increased and was sustainable from year to year in the villages around the company.
“According to the details of the FMM program data, from 2021 in Karanganyar hamlet the total budget is IDR 301 million, in 2022 in Dukoh hamlet the total budget is IDR 350 million, in 2023 in Nglencong hamlet the total budget is IDR 450 million, and in 2024 in Tegaldowo hamlet the total budget is IDR 450 million, with a total budget of IDR 1.55 billion and the length of the concrete road is 1.51 Kilometers,” Sulistyono explained (25/7).
He added that the FMM program is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to help accelerate the development of village infrastructure in a sustainable manner in accordance with SDG's point 9, namely 'Building Resilient Infrastructure'.
“So, our target is to be able to become one of the supporting factors for village community development that actively involves village communities in a participatory manner starting from planning, implementation, to monitoring and evaluation. To create a healthy social ecosystem, an improved economy, and a sovereign village,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Tegaldowo Village, Gunem District, Kundari, expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation for the FMM program from PT Semen Gresik, through the distribution of infrastructure cluster assistance.
“PT Semen Gresik Rembang Factory consistently continues to support and encourage the acceleration of development in our village. So, with the construction of the road, it is hoped that it can be utilized by residents to facilitate activities and improve the economy,” he concluded.
